Hi! I'm Bob, NE1I, your DXtreme
Station Log™ tour guide!
Eileen and I are hiking the beautiful Franconia Ridge trail in
Franconia, New Hampshire. We spent last night at a campground on nearby Mt. Garfield
where I did a little QRP operating with my Yaesu FT-817* Ultimate Backpacker!
I'm really quite pleased with my results, too! I managed to work a new
QRP entity and have a nice QSO with my son, Bobby, VE2/WA1Z, who is
vacationing with his wife, Amy, at Le Chateau Frontenac in Québec City!
We're currently at 4800 feet and have just one more peak to summit
that's Little Haystack ahead and then it's down off the ridge
and back home ...
... where I thought I'd show you how DXtreme Station Log
can make your Amateur Radio operating and logging more fun!
I'll show you how to use the DX Spot Checker,™
add a log entry, start an audio archive, and process your outgoing and incoming QSLs.
Then I'll show you how to track the performance of your
station.
I'll wrap up the tour by showing you how easy it is to export log entries
to ADIF files for uploading to the ARRL's
Logbook of the World! And then how easy it is to
process LoTW QSLs!
