Managing QSLs...

11) Okay! Let's do that QSLing I promised! I want to send a physical
QSL by regular mail and an electronic QSL via the Web.

Let's start with the physical QSL.

a) On the Outgoing QSL menu, I point to Create and
click QSL Label From Template.

Managing QSLs - Clicking QSL Label From Template

The Create QSL Label window appears.

b) I decide to use the default boilerplate text file. Its text
appears in the Boilerplate area of the window
and on every QSL label.

If you want, you can create and use your
own boilerplate text files!

c) In the Label Processing area, I specify the label number I want to
use for the QSL label.

d) I click the QSO Data button and then the Commit button.

e) Then I specify the label number I want to use for the
mailing address label.

f) I click the Address button and then the Commit button.

By the way, you obtain the address by dragging and dropping
it from a Callsign Lookup Web site!!

How convenient ... no more typing addresses manually
unless you want to!!

And you can create as many QSL and address labels as you want!

g) Next, I click Create Now.

The QSL and address labels for NR1M (reserved earlier)
and VE2/WA1Z appear in Microsoft® Word.

h) I print the labels from Word and place them on the QSLs and envelopes.

Depending on the Label Template you use, you can create up to 30 labels at a time.

Note: You can also switch to the Multi-Line QSL Label mode in Preferences
and create multi-line QSL labels like this one:
