Implementation and More

Your DXtreme Station Log tour guide.

DXtreme Station Log 15 has many more features. You can read all about them in the DXtreme Station Log 15 Data Sheet section of this Web site.

That wraps up the tour! But before I go, allow me to tell you how you can implement Station Log 15.

Implementation Options

Entering All Of Your Logs

You can enter all of your log entries manually, or you can use the ADIF Import Utility to interactively import log entries in ADIF format.

This implementation option lets you run all of Station Log 15's powerful reports.

Note: Optional DXtreme Interchange can digitize your paper logbooks (or other non-ADIF sources) as quickly as possible using a combination of essential data entry; dictation, type, and paste; and active-importation. Read the DXtreme Interchange Data Sheet for more information.

Entering Your Existing DXCC Data

You can also enter your existing DXCC data into Station Log 15's Entities module and begin logging contacts thereafter.

Note: Optional DXtreme Interchange has special features that support this implementation option. Read the DXtreme Interchange Data Sheet for more information.

This implementation option lets you avoid entering all of your contacts. And while you'll not be able to run all of Station Log 15's reports, you will be able to run a subset of them. And all of Station Log 15's other features will be available to you.

To Protect and Preserve

Let's face it ... paper fades and gets musty with age! Using Station Log 15 to enter your contacts and scan your QSLs is a great way to protect and preserve your log records and verifications!

The QSL Imaging facility lets you digitize your older QSLs before they fade. And it lets you digitize your new QSLs as soon as they leave your mailbox!

Security

Say you experience a fire or some other unfortunate event that destroys your radio equipment, records, and QSL cards. Sorry to bring this up, but it does happen.

Your homeowners or apartment insurance will likely replace your equipment. But how will you replace your log records and QSL cards?

If you use Station Log 15, you can copy your database, QSL image, Improv image, and audio files to CDs, DVDs, or the Cloud. That way, if something bad happens, you'll be able to retrieve your records and files.
